Playoffs!

Our Varsity boys are in the playoffs! We are the number one seed so we've gotten a first round bye. Our first game will be Thursday, February 26th at 4:30 at Bushrod Recreation Center located at 560 59th Street, Oakland, CA 94609. We play the winners of Impact Academy and Oakland Unity High School. Come out on Thursday to support your Panthers!

Basketball Season Coming to a Close

Congrats! to all players, coaches, and families who participated in this year's basketball season. Our three teams represented themselves as we at Envision Academy had expected them to. Our Lady panthers came in 4th in their division, so did our JV boys team. Our Varsity boys team came in 1st in not only division, but the entire conference!

Cross Country Championships, Nov. 20, '08

The last meet of the year again was held at San Joaquin Miller Park. The 3 mile course is outlined below in yellow. Special thanks to all who helped organize and support our runners. This is a very special moment since it was Envision Academy's first organized sporting event. The team would also like to give a very special thanks to coah Leng for getting them ready. Overall, the moans and groans of training were wiped away as everyone had fun - some were even wishing there was another meet! More importantly, almost everyone improved on their times as the season ends.

Upcoming Cross Crountry Meets!

There is a cross country team meet on Thursday, November 13th and November 20th at Oakland’s Juaquin Miller Park. The meet will start at 4:00 pm and will end around 6:30 pm. Students need to provide their own Bus and BART fare. The round-trip fare is $6.50, so please bring $6.50 for the trip.

We will leave school at 2:30 pm. Students will miss the last half hour of their 3rd period class of the day. We will return to the school at 7:00pm. Parents/guardians who would like to come along are welcome to. Please contact me at vulong@envisionacademy.org for more details and/or questions.
